How do you prove fault in a vehicle accident?
Depending on the accident, responsibility is proven through a number of methods. Usually, a written police report provides official documentation of the accident, especially if an injury occurred. If any infringements of the state traffic laws caused the accident, the offending party is usually at fault. Also, certain kinds of automobile accidents, such as fender benders, fall under the label of “no-doubt” liability. If a person crashes into the rear of another car, the party who hits the other car is almost always at fault.
