Man Killed in Logging Accident

A 23 year-old man was recently killed in an accident on Saturday when he became pinned by a tree while he was logging.

The man was cutting down trees for firewood when the accident took place.  The tree that was being cut fell and landed on top of the man.  

Emergency workers were called to the scene of the accident.  The man was unresponsive and was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.

This accident highlights the dangers when attempting to remove large items like trees because of the dangers it can pose.

Accident on Interstate 94

An accident recently took place on Interstate 94 that caused traffic to become heavily congested and slow. 

The accident took place early Monday morning and involved multiple semi-trucks.  

The accident took place around 3:10 a.m. according to reports.  Traffic on the Interstate had to be diverted to allow emergency response and cleanup of the accident.  Two individuals were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.  The injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The accident is currently under investigation and more details should be released at a later time.

Wiconsin Lawmaker Hits Bicyclist

A lawmaker in Wisconsin struck a bicyclist with his vehicle near the state Capitol.  Representative Fred Clark reportedly ran a red light Tuesday and struck the cyclist. The cyclist was injured,  but is expected to recover from the accident.

The Representative's office has released a statement that said Mr. Clark is shaken up by the incident, and he is focused on the health of the bicyclist that he struck.  The Representative has also stated that the event was an unfortunate accident

Wisconsin Woman Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A Wisconsin woman was recently killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.  The woman was killed as she was riding her motorcycle in Montana.

According to reports, the 49 year-old woman was on United States Highway 2 when the fatal accident occurred.  Witnesses state that the woman was passing another vehicle when she began to lose control of the motorcycle.  The woman eventually lost full control and went into the other lane of traffic.  

The woman was rushed to a hospital by ambulance,  but was eventually pronounced dead.

Car and Tractor Accident Injures 4

An accident between a car and a tractor have lead to four individuals with injuries on Sunday. 

The accident took place in the afternoon in the town of Ridgeville.  Reports indicate that the car attempted to pass the tractor.  The tractor then attempted to make a turn which caused the collision between the two vehicles.  

Only minor injuries were reported,  however all passengers in the vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.   Accident is currently under investigation.

Minnesota man Charged with Hit and Run of Wisconsin Resident

A man from Minnesota stole a semi-truck and drove it to Wisconsin.  While in Wisconsin,  the man got in an accident with a pedestrian on Saturday.  The vehicle struck a pedestrian,  pinning him against his vehicle.

The victim had to be taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries.  Both of his legs were broken in the hit-and-run and one leg may possibly have to be amputated because of the injuries. 

The man who stole the semi-truck then fled the scene on foot without checking on the status of the person that he had injured.  A K-9 unit eventually found the man several hours later hiding in a swamp.  He faces several criminal charges.
