A 72 year-old man has recently lost his life and his wife has been seriously injured following an accident that took place on Sunday.  The man was riding with his wife in their SUV when their vehicle was struck by  a truck.  The accident occurred at a busy intersection.

The couple was driving through the intersection when they were hit from the side by the truck.  Law enforcement investigators found that there were skid marks well before the vehicle which would indicate that the brakes locked up. The accident is still under investigation.

An accident recently took place on a highway outside out Rhinelander.  The accident took place Saturday evening over the weekend.

According to reports,   a black SUV was driving northbound when another vehicle swerved and struck the SUV.  The other vehicle,  a white car,  then lost control and struck a guard rail.  The SUV spun-out in the middle of the road before coming to a  stop.  

The driver of the white car  was arrested shortly after the accident  for driving under the influence.

A Wisconsin man recently lost his life last Thursday after an ATV he was riding overturned on top of him.  The vehicle crushed the man when it overturned on him,  causing serious injuries which resulted in the man's death.

Emergency workers were called to assist the man, but it was unfortunately too late.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency workers.

The accident is currently under investigation.

A 19 year-old motorcycle rider was recently killed in Wisconsin on Wednesday.  The accident took place Wednesday afternoon and involved a motorcycle and a motor home.

According to reports,   the motorcycle rider and the motor home collided with each other and the rider became pinned under the motor home.  It is believed that the rider was killed upon impact with the motor home. 

Investigators are currently reviewing the accident.  They will likely reconstruct the accident to better determine the series of events that led to the young man's death.

Two Wisconsin residents were recently injured in a motorcycle accident after being ejected from the vehicle.

According to reports,  the accident took place Saturday night around 7:00 p.m.  A vehicle in front of the motorcycle slowed abruptly which led to the accident.  The motorcycle driver attempted to avoid hitting the vehicle and lost control.  This sit the driver and the passenger onto the ground.  Both individuals suffered minor injuries from the accident.
