A fire destroyed an Oneida County home in early February, sending a 55-year-old to St. Mary's Hospital. Two people were inside the house when the fire broke out, but the other person was not injured, authorities said.

Authorities said it took three to four hours to put out the blaze. The metal roof fell early, which the firefighters said was difficult to work around. They said it was a messy fire, with things falling everywhere. Firefighters did not know the cause of the fire.

A man was ejected from his vehicle in an Arbor Vitae accident Friday. The one-vehicle rollover appears to have been caused by speed and alcohol, police say. When authorities arrived on the scene, the driver was standing outside his vehicle, having been ejected.

The driver was the vehicle's the only occupant. No one else was injured in the accident. The driver was taken to Howard Young Medical Center then flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield for his injuries.

With winter advisories and storm warnings, northeast Wisconsin has seen an extra dose of vehicle wrecks and sport accidents. Several accidents have been reported over the weekend. From small back roads to highways, people have slipped, slid and gotten stuck.
