Son’s injury causes parents to blame bike maker and Wal-Mart

The parents of a boy are blaming a Wal-Mart and the bike manufacturer for the front wheels of the bicycle falling off which caused their son to face plant to the ground.

The lawsuit is filed against Wal-Mart and Pacific Cycles for an incident that occurred in October 2008 when their son was riding a Mongoose XR-75 bike on a paved road and the front wheel broke free from the bicycle.

The boy then flipped over the handlebars and suffered severe injuries to his face, which cost a lot of money in medical bills to treat. The family names Wal-Mart in the suit because they claim that Wal-Mart was negligent when assembling the bike and Pacific Cycles was negligent for letting Wal-Mart sell and market their products.
