Rushing Waters Fisheries of Palmyra has announced that they are recalled nearly 225 pounds of smoked trout and salmon spreads due to possible Listeria monocytogenes.
No illnessses have been reported from consumers, but the contamination wass found during a routine inspection by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. The recalled products include a smoked trout spread with a lot number of 00694 and a Sell By date of Dec. 13. The smokeed salmon spread has a lot of 50012 and a Sell By date of Dec. 11. The products are sold in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
