A Wisconsin Rapids man was injured after a dog bit his eye. When officials arrived at the scene, the man was refusing medical attention.

The man was taken to Riverview Hospital and an employee reported that he had a puncture wound to his eye after a dog bite from a 3-year-old lab. The man then left the hospital and refused treatment. A humane officer responded to the incident in order to begin an investigation. No more information is currently available.
