A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against a Milwaukee chain of senior living centers after the death of a woman last year.
The woman's relatives filed the suit against Assisted Living Concepts, the group that owns the home. The woman was admitted in 2008 at the age of 79 and according to the family, an untreated urinary tract infection caused the woman to fall. This ocurred in December 2009 and she died a month later.
The lawsuit accuses the center of not providing adequate staffing and supervision of the residents. This is the second wrongful death lawsuit that has been filed against the company in the past month. This company has centers in Wisconsin and 20 other states.
