Five people were injured after a hot air balloon accident occurred in Wisconsin at an event for Green Valley Enterprises.
According to the sheriff's department, the hot air balloon landed on the ground at 5:30 p.m. when all of a sudden a gust of wind came in and caused the balloon to flip over. The balloon was tethered to two trees and a truck, but the tether on the truck snapped and the balloon rolled across the ground.
A 65-year-old woman was the only passenger in the balloon during the incident and she sustained non-life threatening injuries. Four other spectators were injured by the balloon and were taken to the hospital. The Federal Aviation Association is expected to conduct a full investigation into the accident.
