Thanksgiving travel increases in Wisconsin

Posted under Rhinelander car accident attorneys

AAA has conducted research that supports a four percent increase in Thanksgiving travelers for the state of Wisconsin. The data indicates that a predicted 853,000 individuals will be traveling throughout Wisconsin come Thanksgiving weekend.

In the past, the rough economy had an intense impact on the amount of travelers that were recorded. The finances have been overruled this year. According to AAA, people are putting financial stipulations aside to spend time with family and to create memories.

The holiday weekend is defined as Wednesday through Sunday with the most vehicle traffic occurring at the start and at the end of the weekend. Sunday will be mixed with hunters returning home and families traveling home as well.

It is important for drivers to be attentive on the road so as to avoid unnecessary accidents.
