Build-A-Bear recalls teddy bear

Posted under Rhinelander child care product defect attorneys

Last week, Build-A-Bear Workshop announced that it will be recalling almost 300,000 “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” sold in the United States and Canada between April and December of this year.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission claims that the eyes on the teddy bear could become loose and fall out, creating a choking hazard for young children. No injuries related to the recall have been reported.

The “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” are white with multicolored hearts. Consumers who have purchased the teddy bear can bring it into any Build-A-Bear Workshop store and exchange it for a coupon for any stuffed animal.
