Six people were injured on Saturday in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale after a home exploded. Two people were inside the house at the time of the blast and were taken to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, one in serious condition.
A neighbor and a passerby were hurt when they tried to help the occupants out of the burning home. Both houses on either side of the home were severely damaged by the explosion.
A firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion, and a police officer was treated for smoke inhalation. According to CNN, authorities do not know at this time what caused the blast.
