22-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash in Menomonie

A man died after his motorcycle crashed with a car in North Broadway Street on Sunday, September 22. The driver of the motorcycle, Erik Asher of Menomonie, died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle driven by Logan Coppock, around 2:30 p.m. The 22-year old motorcycle driver was not wearing a helmet.

Coppock and Asher were both traveling on North Broadway Street when the accident occurred, police said.

Menomonie Police, Menomonie Fire, Wisconsin State Patrol and UW-Stout Police also worked on the scene.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
