44-year-old Iron River man dies in ATV accident

A resident of Iron River was killed on Saturday, November 16 in an ATV-car crash on U.S. Highway 2 in Bayfield County, Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin State Patrol identified the victim as 44-year-old Kenneth Fiebrink. According to police investigators, Fiebrink was heading south from an all-terrain vehicle trail and was on his way to U.S. Highway 2 when he was hit by 64-year-old Gogebic, Michigan resident Timothy Dean’s 2009 Honda Accord.

Fiebrink was declared dead at the scene of the accident by emergency medical responders. Meanwhile, Dean and his 56-year-old passenger, Linda, were brought to the Memorial Medical Center in Ashland for sustaining minor physical injuries.

The accident is still being investigated by the State Patrol and the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Department.
