A 72 year-old man has recently lost his life and his wife has been seriously injured following an accident that took place on Sunday.  The man was riding with his wife in their SUV when their vehicle was struck by  a truck.  The accident occurred at a busy intersection.

The couple was driving through the intersection when they were hit from the side by the truck.  Law enforcement investigators found that there were skid marks well before the vehicle which would indicate that the brakes locked up. The accident is still under investigation.
