A 34-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was seriously injured in a two-car crash Saturday evening. He was taken by helicopter to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, authorities say, where he remains in serious condition. The other driver's passenger was released from the hospital after being treated for minor injuries, police said.

The crash police report says the 34-year-old was driving north in Grand Rapids when he failed to yield to a sport utility vehicle approaching from the east. The sport utility vehicle hit the car in the driver's side door, police said.
