A Wisconsin chef was accidentally tasered Sunday evening when police arrived and saw him holding a gun that he had just wrestled from a disgruntled gunman, police said. A man was asked to leave a supper club in the Town of Tainter, police said, but he returned later with a loaded handgun. The chef confronted the man, and they began to struggle as someone called the police.
The chef wrestled the gun from the man and was holding it when police arrived. Officers thought the chef was the suspect and tasered him, authorities said, but in the confusion, they quickly realized he was innocent. They took the armed man into custody, authorities said. Police are calling the chef a hero.
