Two lanes of Highway 29 were closed in Chippewa County after a semi-truck rollover accident last week.
The crash occurred around 3 a.m. when the truck was heading eastbound near mile marker 70 and the driver lost control for unknown reasons. The semi-truck, which was transporting 36 heads of cattle, then flipped and rolled over.
One lane in each direction were shut down while crews tried to clear the scene and the local veterinary clinic helped gather the loose cattle. The eastbound lane remained closed for nearly six hours.
