A single-vehicle accident in Rock County on Highway 14 injured two people.
Police officials responded to the scene to find one vehicle flipped over on its side and the 21-year-old driver had been ejected from the vehicle. The woman was conscious and complaining of neck and head pain. The 31-year-old passenger was standing outside of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived and also complained of head and neck pain.
They were both transported to Mercy Hospital to be treated for thier injuries. According to an investigation, the accident occurred as the woman was traveling down the highway when she began to drift off the road. She then overcorrected causing her to go off the roadway and hit a ditch. The vehicle then rolled multiple times. It is thought that alcohol may have been a factor in the case.
