Several were injured in a two-car accident in Iowa County on Sunday.
According to the sheriff's department, the accident occurred just after 11 a.m. when a 25-year-old driver of a van failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of State Highway 39 and County Highway F. The driver failed to see a car approaching, and the two vehicles collided.
There were six people in the van and one person in the other car at the time. The victims were transported to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison and Meriter Hospital in order to be treated for their injuries.
