A milk tanker semi truck driving southbound on Losey Boulevard rolled on top of a red compact car on Sunday night at 7pm at the intersection of Losey Boulevard and La Crosse Street in La Crosse, WI.
According to authorities, the driver of the red car had to be removed using the jaws of life. She was then rushed to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Fire Chief Tom Wallerich reported, “One of the main concerns when we arrived on scene was the fuel saddle tank on the truck was right over top of the vehicle and it had extensive damage to the tank, but fortunately it stayed intact.”
Police are still investigating the accident, and details on the victims have not yet been released.
