Lenovo is recalling nearly 50,500 all-in-one computers after it received two complaints worldwide of fire resulting from the overheating of the internal power supply. Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M70z and M90z products are the subject of the recall.
The company urges its customers who own the affected computers to stop using the machines immediately. The ThinkCentre models were sold in stores, online, and over the phone from May 2010 to January 2012.
To check to see if your ThinkCentre computer is at risk, the Lenovo website has a page where you can enter your computer’s serial number that determines if it is recalled. Lenovo says it will replace the power supply to its customers free of charge.
