The annual Wisconsin Film Festival began this week and will run through Sunday. The festival, presented by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Art Institute, features dozens of movies by local and international filmmakers.
Eight theaters in Madison will be showing the films and selling tickets for each showing. Tickets are $5 with a valid student ID and $8 without a student ID. Only cash, check, or vouchers will be accepted.
International documentaries, local films by local filmmakers, indie selections, restored classics, and Oscar-nominated movies will all be presented at this year’s Wisconsin Film Festival. For more information about the festival, visit 2012.wifilmfest.org.
