The Chocolate Nougat Crunch Ice Cream made by Ben & Jerry’s is the subject of a recall after an allergen advisory notice was not placed on the packaging as it should have been. The advisory states that the ice cream is made with equipment that handles peanuts and tree nuts.

Consumers with serious nut allergies could have a serious and life-threatening reactions if they eat the ice cream. No illnesses or reactions have been reported so far.

If you have purchased Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Nougat Crunch flavor and are allergic to nuts, you are urged to throw out the ice cream, clean out the container, and cut out its UPC code printed on the outside. You can then call Ben & Jerry’s for a free coupon replacement.
