Earlier this month, 43-year-old San Antonio, Texas resident Mouh Seguir Hammoutene was driving a 2012 Freightliner semi-truck, heading east on U.S. Highway 12, when he collided with 52-year-old Milwaukee, Wisconsin resident Kenneth Paul’s Ford Econoline E-350 truck going west on the same highway.
According to a press release from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, the two-vehicle accident caused Paul and his passenger, 33-year-old David Williams, who was also from Milwaukee, to suffer serious physical injuries.
Reports claim that Hammoutene failed to yield to Paul’s vehicle when making a left-hand turn at an intersection, and was subsequently cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
